Pankration (MMA) is a martial arts sport introduced to the Greek Olympic Games in 648 BC and founded as a blend of boxing and wrestling. This style includes the best of Jujitsu, grappling, Muay Thai, and Kickboxing. The term comes from the Ancient Greek words “pan” meaning “all”, and ”kratos” meaning “strength” or “power”.

Muay Thai:

Muay Thai, literally – Thai Boxing – is a form of hard martial art practiced in large parts of the world, including Thailand and other Southeast Asian countries. Traditional Muay Thai practiced today uses kicks and punches in a ring with gloves similar to those used in Western boxing.

Catch Wrestling:

Catch Wrestling has been known to be the ancestor of MMA, modern submission grappling, and even professional wrestling. Chris Franco proved the effectiveness of Catch Wrestling in his first-place finish at the Oregon State Jiu-jitsu championships. Catch Wrestling has had a number of victories at UFC, Strikeforce, and Pancrase, thanks to Chris’ former training partner, Josh “Warmaster” Barnett.
